| Miles College Finishes Third in NCAA Division II 2005 Football Attendance |

February 8, 2006 Fairfield, AL – The Miles College Golden Bears ranked third in a release from the National Collegiate Athletic Association as they announced the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has won the Division II football attendance title for the third consecutive year. The SIAC had six (6) teams to finish in the top 25 in team attendance out of 147 Division II teams. The six SIAC teams are Tuskegee University (2nd), Miles College (3rd), Albany State University (12th), Morehouse College (13th), Fort Valley State University (20th), and Kentucky State University (23rd) leading the way for the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference to achieve its third consecutive football attendance title and seventh out of the last eight years. Tuskegee fell just short of winning another attendance title coming up short to West Texas A&M who averaged over 13,000 fans per game while Tuskegee managed to average 11,307. Dr. William E. Lide, SIAC Commissioner stated “this is a tremendous privilege and honor that we are able to be ranked number one regarding attendance. This is due most impart to our great fans that show our teams great support throughout the year.
