Fairfield, AL – The Miles College Golden Bears football team has been picked to finish 6th in the SIAC (Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) this season by the SIAC Football Coaches Association. The Golden Tigers of Tuskegee University were picked to finish 1st.

Fairfield, AL –Miles College has earned the 2007 title as NCAA Division II football attendance leader, with an average of 13,225 fans per game. Miles’ two largest games last year were the Labor Day Golden Classic with Tuskegee University (39,583) at Legion Field and homecoming with Lane College (13,977).

Golden Bear and current member of the Grand Rapids Rampage will move to the
next round of play in the Divisional Round of the 2008 Arena Football League
Playoffs. The Rampage advanced to the Divisional Round after beating the
Arizona Rattlers 48-41 in Monday night’s Wild Card game.
